Donate or Sow a Seed

2 Corinthians 9:6 Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
Proverbs 11:24 One gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want.

We ascribe to the 2 Cor. 9:6 philosophy of giving. Only give what you feel, not what you are told. God loves a cheerful giver. Anyone can give when forced but God loves when we give cheerfully. Your offering is needed to help us do the work of the Lord, but also a blessing to you. When you give, make sure you give with intention. Give the seed you sow a name. For example "I lay this seed down as a sign of faith that my prayers for (insert here) will come to pass)". The Lord loves and blesses faith, in fact it is impossible to please him without him without faith (Heb. 11:6).  When you water those working for the Lord, the poor, widows, needy etc. you will also be watered yourself (Prov. 11:25). Giving is also a form of agreement. As you give, we are in agreement with your prayers that align with the will of God. Matt 18:19 "Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven".
